Summary
When Yingxing’s respiratory illness worsens, he takes his physician’s suggestion to move away from the air pollution of the cities. Finding an appropriate location on a remote mountain, Yingxing makes his new home there. One day, he meets a dragon.
Yingxing has been in his new home for a month when the incidents begin. […] He adds more security measures, locking the windows and double barring the doors, putting up wards, but it keeps happening. He’s beginning to genuinely freak out—how the hell is whoever or whatever it is still getting in? —and then one evening, he returns from the forge to find the edge of a small paw print on the disturbed blueprints on his home desk.
The little guy seems to have inadvertently stepped in Yingxing’s unwashed inkstone, tracking a small smudge of ink onto the papers like a guilty delinquent leaving behind their dirty fingerprints.

Ren hears his voice, its soft cadence somehow able to break through the twisted whispers flooding his mind.
"We can trust him", Dan Heng says.
He blindly follows that voice, turning his head towards it, and when he opens his bleary eyes it takes Ren several seconds for his gaze to focus and for Dan Heng's figure to be more than just blurry spots of familiar colors. But when he's finally able to make up Dan Heng's worried face it feels as if Ren had been drowning all this time and Dan Heng is his first inhale of fresh air that he desperately needs to live.
How everything changes between them and what it means to Ren after centuries of a seemingly endless chase.

They’re almost to the television station for the debate when Blade falters in his steps and stumbles.
“Blade?” Dan Heng asks, reaching his hands out to stabilize Blade but flinching back at the sight of glowing red eyes. “What’s going…”
All around them, random citizens of Planarcadia twist and scream and cackle, their limbs turning corpse gray and neon pink as grotesque grins spread across their faces. Dan Heng no longer needs to finish asking his question; he can see, plainly in front of him, that the debate has been a ruse all along.

In order to calm Blade down from his episodes of mara and no longer willing to kill him, Dan Heng must finally acknowledge another piece of the puzzle that makes up his and Blade’s relationship. Takes place during the black screen scene in 4.2.

The prisoner can see right through the General’s forced aloofness, taking in the subtle downturn of Ren’s lips, the crease between his furrowed eyebrows. Fully invested in hearing the captive’s response, he anxiously awaits the final verdict.
Dan Heng firmly ignores his wounded Vidyadhara pride, the dragon inside of him roaring with indignation—yes, yes yes yes, a thousand times yes, a million excruciating deaths would not be enough to redeem your pitch-black soul—in favour of answering truthfully. As a fellow soldier and a fellow man, dealt an extraordinarily terrible hand in life. “No.“

“You really are so different from him,” Blade finally commented tiredly, hand absentmindedly lingering on the shorter male’s neck. Dan Heng blinked at him in shock, so used to having to emphasize that he was his own person separate from Dan Feng. “It sounds like you are suggesting we reconcile.”
“I am,” he replied with conviction.
“You make it sound so simple,” Blade muttered bitterly, before his expression and voice seemed to soften imperceptibly. “I… didn’t expect this.”
Or; Dan Heng finally stops running. Can the shadows of two people who loved each other in a previous life salvage something from the ashes of their tragic shared past? Dan Heng isn’t sure, but most importantly after learning the truth, he’s willing to try. Over several nights spent in each other’s presence, he and Blade find a way to move forward, together.

And the Great Dragon, for some reason, keeps him alive and uses him as a hostage. Summary
After Arthur disobeyed his father and retrieved the Mortaeus flower for Merlin's cure, Arthur's frantic pleading to save Merlin led to a misunderstanding that actually convinced Uther to take the flower to Gaius.
Now all Arthur has to do is explain to Merlin why Uther thinks they are lovers.
And while Uther is supportive of the relationship, he requires it kept secret. But in his paranoia, Uther misinterprets every innocent interaction between the two as something far more intimate, to the embarrassment of everyone involved.
And then the knights begin showing up...

Summary
I thought it would be really funny if, instead of finding out about Merlin's magic and having one episode to react, Arthur instead spent a whole season being an absolute prat about the whole thing. Here are some things I've imagined from this scenario, set in that magical period between Season 3 and 4 when the knights of the round table were running around being chaotic dumbasses and stealing chickens.
"Merlin," yelped Arthur, outraged and relieved in equal measure. "What on earth are you- Is this what you meant by powerful, ancient magic? You can make your eyes go sparkly and then fix people's clothing?"
Merlin stopped short and rubbed the back of his own neck awkwardly. "Among other things, yes."
"And you've been moping around all day about this?"
"You didn't believe me! I was baring my soul to you and you were so arrogant that you just-"
"You told me that you'd saved my life a hundred times with the mystical power of your warlock skills," said Arthur, wiggling his fingers as though casting a spell. "Not that you were hiding the ability to dress me more efficiently."
