When Kyoko had first come to Hope's Peak she had planned to not get close to anyone. She'd use the opportunity to hone her skills as a detective, cut ties with her father and then graduate without ever looking back. Unfortunately that plan was thoroughly disrupted by her growing attached to her new friends.
At least it gives her an opportunity to finally come to terms with what had happened years ago.Or: Five times Kyoko tries to reveal her hands and their story to Makoto and Mukuro, and the one time she actually succeeds.

Hajime couldn’t give an exact incident. There was never really an ‘inciting event’ that struck alarm bells when it came to stuff like this, but a gradual build-up of crumbs and morsels of conversation. They began to spell out a phrase in Hajime’s mind in a font that just became larger and larger.
‘There’s something wrong with Nagito’ – that was it, but what that ‘thing’ was still remained up for debate. At least, that’s what Hajime kept telling himself.
Any alternative made his insides twist themselves into knots.

Dementia is also confusing.
But, thought Hajime Hinata as he sat in the waiting room of the ICU, Nagito Komaeda is more confusing than both of those things combined.
The Ultimate Lucky Student had played down his symptoms so well that Hajime had almost believed him. Almost. There were still nights where Hajime would wake up in his cabin, drenched in sweat, convinced that Nagito had finally succumbed to his illnesses. But he’d always be there in the morning, cheerfully eating breakfast with the others and making nonsensical comments about hope, usually accompanied by a self-deprecating remark.
Until one day, he wasn’t.

Hajime stays in the hospital waiting room for three days while Nagito is undergoing an emergency surgery. Makoto is there to make sure everything's okay, or as okay as it can be.

Hajime blinked, his emotions temporarily pausing for him to ask a shocked, “pardon?”
“Am I lucky, Hajime?”
His name tumbled from the others mouth, dry and questioning. It was filled with uncertainty and doubt, but it was enough to make Hajime hold on to that hope. He stiffened a bit, the name making him alert like a watchdog.
“Well… I mean.. in a way, yes.” He replied, looking at the others' face. “You… it’s kinda part of your whole shtick.”
A wheezy laugh made its way from Nagito’s mouth, his chest frantic movements to keep up with the laughter.

Or did it sound like they were standing there with her? And if her soulmate was singing along to music, like the boy was then with her piano playing, would she hear that too? Could his soulmate, whoever that was, hear her playing the piano?
Kaede sang on occasion (even though she was really very bad at it) but she wondered if her soulmate could hear her when she was playing the piano too. Was it a singing-only situation? Or did it apply to all kinds of music? Maybe they could only hear her playing the piano when she was singing as well. Again, a blank look remained on his facial features before uttering “oh, so you’re in this loop too?” that very question hung heavy in the air. Immediately it seemed to make Kaede stop crying and come to a halt, raising her head up so she stared back at Kokichi with a bewildered expression “wh.... What?”
A small, quiet smile plastered his lips “ah, so I figured.” he mused as if he had gotten an answer out of nowhere. Still, there were no words of a response from Kaede, who just sat boring holes into Kokichi; as her mouth and eyes were left wide open in pure disbelief.
(Kaede had always found herself reliving the same events that happened in the killing game. No matter what she did, she could never save Shuichi. Over time, Kaede found herself slowly fall apart due to the unescapable time loop. But one day, everything changes when she finds that someone else is also trapped in the same loop as well.)

There’s a taunt playing on his lips but before it can leap off his tongue and tease Momota further his foot tangles in the root of a tree, catching him completely off guard. Kaito’s sweat slicked face gets violently ripped out of his view as he slams hard into the pavement.
When running away from Kaito, Kokichi trips and hurts himself. Kaito tries to help.

With a quiet noise of horror, he dropped to his knees beside the victim to see who it was.
