Summary
At first, Naru ignores the metallic slicing sounds of battle, the too quick and too quiet footsteps skating through the trees. She’s safely lingering on a branch of her own, picking out flecks of dried blood from under her nails with a kunai she’d recovered from her last opportunity to insert herself in the war.
The war that is definitely not her own, but one from long before her birth that she has no real business being a part of. She also has no business being in a child’s body, but what can she do at this point?

Rolling her eyes, she moves onto her ring finger. “Yeah, yeah,” she whispers, so quiet there’s barely a breath between her lips. “I get it, Kurama. We’re still saving the world, I know.”

Summary
Kakashi doesn’t have the particular luxury of complete information.
He knows he’s six again, judging by the date he’s long burned into his heart, and he knows that this toddler is his little sister.
How he knows that— no clue. Not beyond the obvious resemblance, her calling him nii-san, and her sleeping in his childhood home.
Still, she is a stranger. She should not exist. Kakashi has never met her before.
But that doesn’t stop him from scooping her up and plopping her on his bed. She leans into the heat of him, but doesn’t cling when he moves away. He has to clear the rest of the house of any other unknown relatives that might suddenly pop out of the closets.

Summary
They're the last ones living, the last ones alive. They've won the war, but at what price?
Kakashi, Gai, Kurenai, Ino, Hinata, Shikamaru, Chouji and countless others are dead, bodies torn and ravaged, eyes unseeing and blank.
So, Sakura, Naruto and Sasuke decide to go back, go back and fix things.
Kurama has a forbidden ninjutsu that will take them back, back to when they were younger, and they can fix things.
But there's only so much they can fix, without the world spiralling out of control.
Team 7 is determined to make it worth it, make those heartfelt cries, beneath moonlit skies a reality. To give all their precious people one more chance.
