Summary
After the reunification of Rena and Dahna, Alphen and Shionne now married need to help piece together the new world that is Redahna. The Dahnans are split, some call for retribution against the Renans, some call for peace and coexistence. Amongst the Renans things aren't much better, some still view Dahnans as lesser people while others seek reconciliation. Alphen and Shionne find themselves and their marriage as a symbol, a hope for peace to some, and a sign of fraternization with the enemy for others. The newlyweds must work to preserve the new peace before it shatters once again.

Summary
The kingdoms of Dahna and Rena have been at war for centuries. After suffering countless casualties on both sides the leaders devise a plan to initiate peace between them: a highly ritualized marriage between the strongest of each of their races to act as proof that living together in peace is possible.
Neither Alphen nor Shionne want anything to do with the ceremony but their respective leaders don’t give them a choice.
