Just the Mid-Wilshire team, laughing too loudly, teasing each other over cheap drinks and shared stories that didn’t involve blood or badges. Three cars. One road home. Then everything goes wrong in seconds. A reckless driver on a narrow cliffside road forces a chain reaction neither training nor instinct can fully prevent. Metal collides. Control is lost. Two vehicles are pushed beyond the barrier and disappear into darkness below.

His plan to protect Bruce's legacy from Ra's al Ghul may have been successful, but he didn't think he would need a plan to protect himself from the scrutiny of his friends and family. He didn't think he would need a plan to avoid their very targeted questions.

1st Hypothesis: I haven't broken a single bone.
Conclusion: I am boneless
2nd Hypothesis: I broke two bones while following Batman.
Conclusion: I have two bones with a possibility of a third one.
3rd Hypothesis: I have successful replicated an illegal drug that allows to become an adult. I have both the drug and the antidote to return back to normal. But Jason is dead.
Conclusion: Bring Batman back to his normal self.
Plan of Action: Become a better Nemesis than Joker and show Batman the right path.
Or where Tim Drake gets poisoned, turns into an adult and decides that becoming Batman's Nemesis is the only way to help him. So, Tim becomes the opposite of Batman.
Batman wears black, Tim wears white.
Batman is Vigilante, Tim is Thief.
Batman comes unannounced, Tim informs of his arrival.
The only thing they agree on: No murder.

Tim Drake is very publicly kidnapped off the streets of Gotham City in front of a dozen witnesses and traffic camera angles. There is also footage of Jason attempting to mount a rescue and failing miserably. This does not go over so well with everyone left in their wake.
Now, Tim is a very unfortunate passenger in several different vehicles, he’s hallucinating Phileas Fogg from the classic adventure novel ‘Around the World in 80 Days,’ his older brother's dead body is stuffed in the trunk, and Jason will not stop talking about breakfast for dinner. It's sure to be the worst forced road trip of a lifetime. But at least they have each other.

“Master Tim, would you like to join us for breakfast?”
And there it was. Tim didn’t turn to look at them, he could feel that Dick and Jason’s eyes were locked on his back. He knew they were glaring. Bruce had stopped typing, probably holding his breath and dreading the day Tim didn’t say no. He hated the silence that stretched every time as they waited for his answer, staring him down, just daring him to accept.
“I can’t tonight, but thank you for the invitation, as always.” He wished he could put a frustrated emphasis on the last two words, but who was he to be rude to Alfred? There was a short pause, then Bruce began typing again. He knew Jason and Dick were now probably looking at each other, relieved.
“Well, the invitation remains open, as always,” replied Alfred.
When the light indicated Tim had reached the surface via one of the Batcave’s back exits, Dick broke the silence that had settled since he left. “So much for him being more willing to stay for breakfast with Jason and I here. We’re zero for who knows how many tries, I’ve lost count.”
OR: The Waynes concoct plans to invite Tim into the pack. Tim schemes up ways to satisfy his need for pack without the Waynes finding out.
