Even without his glasses, he could make out the basic features of this blurred shadow: the broad shoulders that arched back so proudly, piercing crimson eyes in an otherwise impenetrable darkness, and the curved, jagged structures of long black horns. The student swallowed the fear in his throat, and even though he did not trust his own voice, he spoke, "Who are you...? What do you want from me?"
He watched the being's eyes crinkle at the corners from what must have been amusement. "I really can't stand mortals who deny themselves pleasure," it spoke deeply, his low voice reverberating in the human's chest. "It's not about what I want from you, but what I can give you. After landing in the keep of High King Phantom of the Infinite Realms, all Red Robin can think about is star shaped freckles and kind smiles. Phantom does everything in his power to make Tim comfortable while they find a way to send him back to Gotham and his family. But when Clockwork sends a cryptic message that shows a bond between the two that cannot be broken, Tim decides his family can suck it and he's bringing his ghastly soulmate back with him.
