Summary
Grace's webbed hands press against the glass, his curious chitters surprising the young man standing next to the viewport he was observing from. He’s newer on the team, Grace jogs his memory for his name again.
The young man holds his hand to his chest, breathing a sigh of relief, “Oh hey, Grace. Come to see your new neighbor?”
He nods, chirping his burning question, “Who is it?”
“Dunno,” Chris, right, that’s his name– “It’s another mer.”
(Or, Rocky and Adrian are helped by a merman named Grace, and in turn they save him. Now happily living in the Erid Marine Rehabilitation & Research Center, Grace is surprised when another injured merman named Simon is brought to recover in a neighboring tank. Perhaps, these two lost souls may finally have a home, together.)

As Izuku aged, the merman never left the back of his mind it was one of the reasons why he decided to become a marine biologist. He not only wanted to because of his love for salt and fresh water creatures but to study Katsuki's species. Merfolk were rare, and well, the more they talked, the more Izuku fell in love with the merman. Maybe he had always loved him.
