    i know the tiktok ban is most likely going to happen and most likely will, but i’ve heard mixed stuff about ao3. some people are saying it’ll be under risk because of “harmful content” (they mainly want to get rid of porn and some fics can be seen as written porn) but it’s also very small compared to tiktok. again, this is just stuff i’ve heard or seen people discussing and i might be completely wrong :)

      Yeah, I’ve been told it probably will.. I hope it’s not under risk. (Well.. I feel like that’s an impossible wish. You can’t just get rid of the hornies in the people. And it’s better to write it out than actually act it out.) I’m glad it’s smaller compared to TikTok, less chance of it being seen by any officials. You’re all good! All this information is wonderfully informative for me.

        mhm! i looked more into it and their main targets are visual pornography (including animated stuff) but written stuff doesn’t seem to be a worry of theirs for now. and also, this sight has a huge ass legal team and gets a LOT of donations so i’m not as worried XD. and its an archive site and doesnt use ads like stuff such as wattpad and tumblr (as people said earlier on this thread). so hopefully we don’t need to worry :)

          Oh! I see. I’m glad it’s just visuals, people don’t really need to see the porn, I think. I think it affects the brain more than written porn, because then it affects how people move or see other people. That’s true, its legal team is something I’m very grateful for, along with it being an archive, with no advertisements. (Yep!) No, my worries have definitely died down to one to two percent out of a hundred.
