Granted, that was usually because he was doing what he wanted regardless. So the training exercise they were on was bullshit. Also, while he was at it, who the hell has a training exercise in the fucking desert? Seriously they could've gone anywhere for this stupid thing and Bruce chose the fucking desert? Bullshit.
Or, Jason and Tim get stuck in the desert and a near death experience forces them to work things out.

Tim didn't particularly mind it too much to be fair. It was all he, along with almost every other viking in their village, had ever known. The only viking who knew what it was like outside the archipelago was the village chief.
