Summary
“You’re under arrest for being a blanket thief.” Was the first thing Faraday said to Vasquez when he woke up.
Vasquez’s response was to stretch and yawn, curling around their giant blanket like an oversized cat. “Lo siento, güero.” He said, mid-yawn, although Faraday knew the bastard didn’t have a single apologetic bone in his body.

***SPOILERS for 5.06***
“I tried to convince my boss to let me go down there, but he said it was a conflict of interest‒since you’re my boyfriend and all‒so he sent someone else to do the story,” she sighs dejectedly as she rubs his ams with cool, bony hands.
The story. He and Eddie were being held at gunpoint by two inmates who had nothing to lose...and Taylor was more upset about not getting to cover the story than she was about either of them being shot and possibly killed‒of her own boyfriend being killed.
“W-wait, you wanted to go live and report the story of me a-and Eddie being held hostage? Of Eddie being trapped in that ambulance with a desperate man who was armed?”
~
OR: Buck comes home after the hostage situation and Taylor seems a little too interested in what went down. So interested, that she betrays Buck's trust just to get a good scoop. (second chapter is Eddie POV and focuses more on Buddie <3)
