I love how from some of the first few episodes together onwards, Eggchan and Wemmbu are just completely devoted to each other. (Mostly Wemmbu to Eggchan but yk) Like yes we are saving this person who we have to go completely out of the way to save and who are probably completely useless to the plan, what's it to ya? Yes I would be used as a pawn in a war just to keep you safe, and anyone who questions that will be pulverized with my mace. And like, after a point people just stop questioning it. (if they ever did at all I can't remember) I feel like ShoeBilly really voiced what we were all thinking when Wemmbu was sent to beat him up. He said something along the lines of "Why do you always protect Eggchan? He's basically completely useless and is being used to control you; you would be so much stronger if you stopped caring." And I don't think there really is a simple answer to that. It's just Wemmbu and Eggchan, Eggchan and Wemmbu and that's that.
